In the span of a few months, the world was taken by storm when a supposed new virus had made its way from China to almost all of the countries around the world. The COVID-19 virus that came from the alleged wet market from Wuhan had sprung to a worldwide pandemic, claiming thousands of lives and put the world’s economy to a halt. Countries had their own way of containing the virus, but it all narrows down to one thing.
Almost every country had undergone quarantine. Staying at home is a ‘want’ from most people. Now, it’s very much a ‘need’, and instead of people rejoicing about it, it was the opposite-- myself included. In short, staying at home sucks. As much as we hate it, we need to stay inside for the greater good. However, despite being at home, you can make everything a little better with these four things:
1. Reach out to loved ones!
It’s not always that we get to reach out and contact loved ones. Whether they are far away or close, it is important to bond with them once in a while.
Since we barely have the time to clean our home, car (if you own one), and the other things, so why not use the time to do a bit of cleaning around your house? How about your car? A little soap, water and scrubbing are all the things that you need. Plus, getting to live and drive in a clean environment is better than in dirty ones.
There are a lot of things you can learn by yourself. Sign up for a course online or just watch videos and you’re good to go. Dedicate time and motivation to study, after all learning new things is productive!
Your skills that are already present, polish them and improve. An example would be cooking! Try a new recipe or be familiar with new spices.
